In an emergency in the water, every second counts. For this reason, water rescues are often associated with special challenges for the emergency services. The newly developed, automated drone system "RescueFly" is intended to support the rescue process in future.
"RescueFly" is a joint project of the Björn Steiger Stiftung, the Brandenburg Institute for Society and Security, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg, Droniq GmbH, MINTMASTERS GmbH, Chemnitz University of Technology and Dresden University of Technology. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs.
